Valley of the Kings
Located on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor, this ancient valley contains tombs constructed for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. The valley stands as one of the world's most famous archaeological sites, housing tombs including that of Tutankhamun.
